Wings & Things

The 8th Pastoral Anniversary Committee is planning a Wings & Things dinner sale on Sunday, July 10th immediately following morning service. The dinner will include wings, fries, tossed salad, and dessert for a small donation of $8.00. You can take out or dine in.

Fellowship Baptist District Association

Woman’s Auxiliary This year our District Outreach Project is “Ann’s House.” This is a new project and ministry in Champaign. This facility serves women that are being paroled from prison and provides assistance to them with transiting back into society. Pilgrim is responsible for providing assistance with body wash and hand soap. The gifts will be presented to the Executive Director on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. There will be a basket or box in the foyer for the items. If you have questions please contact Sis. Rochelle Walker, Mission President.

8th Pastoral Anniversary Memorable Booklet

The Pastoral Anniversary Committee is in the process of seeking congratulatory ads for Pastor & Sis. Parks 8th Anniversary booklet. The cost of the ads are $100 (full –page), $50 (1/2 page), and $25 (1/4) page. Please submit your money and ad to Sis. Emma Marshall by Friday, July 15th.

Pre-Pastoral Anniversary Celebration

The Pre-Pastoral Anniversary Celebration for Pastor & Sis Parks will be held on Sunday, July 17th at 3 p.m. We are pleased to have Rev. Keith L. Thomas and the Mt. Olive M. B. Church family as our special guest. A reception will be held immediately following the program. We are looking and expecting you, you, and you!

8th Pastoral Anniversary Celebration

We will be celebrating the 8th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Rickey & Lady Felicia Parks on Sunday, July 24th. Our theme is “A Pastor with a Heart to Serve” 2 Chronicles 31:21. The celebration guest preacher at 3 p.m. will be Rev. George Waters, Jr., Rose Hill M. B. Church, Pine Bluff, AR.

The anniversary colors are aqua and black. The assessments have been set for $80 (adults), and $10 (youth. Our captains are: Sis. Natika Roberson (A-F), Sis. Sandra Carter-Harvey (G-M), Sis. Sheila Harvey (N-S), Sis. Angela Terrall (T-Z, and Sis. Nicole McCurry, (Youth). Let’s rejoice and make this a great day of celebration!!

Building Fund PledgesWe would like to thank all those that have continued to make their pledges monthly. For those who would like to change their monthly pledges, please see Bro. Lloyd Winston, Dea. Peter McFarland, or Sis. Connie Carter. We would like to encourage new members, members who have not pledge, and members who have pledge but have not met their pledge to please sign up or make your pledge payment TODAY. You can see any Building Fund Member.

NOTICE!!!If you are need of transportation for Sunday School, Morning, Service, BYF, Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Choir Rehearsal, etc., please fill out a form that will be available in the Secretary’s office or call the church at 356-9633 by FRIDAY at 1:00 p.m. of each week. Please make sure you cancel if you do NOT need transportation by FRIDAY.

Youth New Members ClassThe Youth New Members are on Saturdays at 3 p.m. for a 4 week course. All youth that have joined Pilgrim in the last 3 years and have not completed their new member class is asked to PLEASE be present. Any questions see Dea. Peter McFarland.

Adult New Membership ClassAll adult new members please contact Sis. Connie Carter at 356-9633 or Rev. Parks at 352-8055 to schedule your membership classes on Wednesday (12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.) and/or Saturday (10:00 a.m.) Youth membership classes are every Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

CDs

Copies of CDs are available each Sunday for a small donation of $5.00. Please see Dea. Fred Johnson if you would like to purchase a copy of the morning sermon.

Lost and FoundThe Lost and Found is located in the hallway. Those who have lost any items can check in the tub that is labeled. Please do not remove any item that does not belong to you.
