Latinos in Grand Rapids

Today the Hispanic population represent the largest minority of the United States

In Grand Rapids the Hispanic population represent the 13.8% of the total population

16,000 have Mexican background We have in Grand Rapids 4,000 people from

Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras and more

GR in one of the 10 favorites new destinations of Latinos in this century

Esperanza Strategic Plan

This plan has been designed as a tool to follow the general Church Planting Plan and Strategies of ECC; specifically created to ECC in Grand Rapids.

The main purpose of this plan is to provide along with the faith in Jesus, praying and Holly Spirit guidance a focused ministerial work at short, middle and long term with defined activity/strategic frame.

This plan offer us during the first year only eight goals justified on it’s objectives, strategies, activities and outcomes.

Goals….. Share with 150 Latino families about Jesus’s love

during the first year 2006-2007. Recruit 40 members for the core team 10 people praying for us on weekly bases At least one Bible study in one home Minimum communication components Contact with the five main sectors of the city Initiate our first discipleship class with 10-12 new

believers At least two responsible leaders for each ministerial

field
