Risen Lord Jesus, Lord God of the whole universeWe stand before you todayBecause you first came to us,And you will come again.

Before the beginning of timeYou were here!

Through the first days of CreationYou were here!

At the moment of our disobedienceYou were here!

In all our hopes and broken dreamsYou were here!

And in Jesus Christ, Who was born among us,Lived alongside us, Gave himself to us,And embraced death for us,

You were here!

On the night before he diedHe took bread and broke it.

“This is my body,” he said, “broken for you.”

Then he took the cup of wineHe told them each to share of it.

“This is my blood,” he said, “poured out for many.”

And so Lord, we do this in remembrance of you,And in your very presence.

For You are here!

Transform these gifts Of your creation, and Use them for Your own purpose.

For You are here!

Ignite our spirits With your SpiritAnd set our hearts on fire.

For You are here!

Join us together in one bodyAnd bring us fully To yourself.

For You are here!

So may we be Strengthened to serve you.For you are the Coming One!

May we strive For justice and peaceFor you are the Coming One!

May we continue Your grace and mercyFor you are the Coming One!

May we take forward Your KingdomFor you are the Coming One!

The One who was,

and who is,

and who is to come:

Jesus Christ.

We break this bread, to share in the body of Christ.

Draw near with faith. Eat, drink, receive,Be bound together in Him.

Almighty God,we thank you for feeding us with the body and blood of your Son Jesus Christ.

Through him we offer you our souls and bodies to be a living sacrifice.

Send us outin the power of your Spiritto live and work to your praise and glory.
