… the season when you buy this year's

gifts with next year's money

God – John 1:1

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child

and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel – Isaiah 7:14

The Son of God became human

He had equal status with God but didn't think so much of Himself that He had to cling

to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, He set aside the privileges of deity and took on the

status of a slave, became human!

Phil 2:5-7 The Message

While they were there, the time came for her to give

birth. She gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped

him in a blanket and laid him in a manger

her heart – Luke 2:19

“For nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37

A time to respond to the message of God

Decide to go God’s way

"I am the Lord's servant … May it be to me as you

have said“ - Luke 1:38

A time to respond to the message of God

… a sword will pierce your own soul too

Luke 2:35b

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother

John 19:25

How do I respond to the message of God?

We are made right with God by placing our faith in

Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are …

Rom 3:22 NLT

Lord Jesus Christ, I know I have sinned in my thoughts, words and actions.

There are so many good things I have not done. There are so many sinful things I have done. I am sorry for my sins and turn from everything I know to be wrong.

You gave your life upon the cross for me. Gratefully I give my life back to you.

Now I ask you to come into my life. Come in as my Saviour to cleanse me. Come in as my Lord to control me.
