Our Mission is to Improve People’s Lives Through Improving Their Environment
What we can do for you? In creating your landscape we listen to what you
want and design a landscape in keeping with your needs.
We design landscapes that fit your need for reliability as well as uncommon beauty.
Your new or renovated landscape will have a sense of style, taste and attention to detail.
Each landscape is unique so you won’t see here what we will design for you
The following examples are meant to give you a potpourri of styles and a look at some detailing that
we have done in past work.
This is a small scale development streetscape using some native plants to preserve the character of the
natural surrounds.
A nature walk park was part of the same development.
Another natural area was designed to resist deer intrusion. My favorite parts of this design is the patterns that draw your eye around the planting.
Materials are repeated throughout a project to create cohesive statements.
Every design involves attention to detail and seeing each space as an opportunity to create a scene to
enjoy.
No matter what style. This is a drought tolerant design.
Here a newly planted drought tolerant multi-family housing project.
Our designs always use the best new materials in innovative ways. Here Buffalo Grass is a “no mow”
addition to interesting art objects in the garden.
In the same space glass rock simulates a water fountain to offer the beauty without the maintenance
headache of a fountain.
Every entry challenges the landscape designer to meld the style with the right plants.
The landscape design of this entry is perfectly matched to the architecture.
Traditional architecture demands traditional plant materials and an understated paving solution.
Deer intrusion in this garden has resulted in using a variety of plants to learn which ones are most
resistant.
In the beginning of each design process we assess the relationship between the land and the client to determine which approach is best for them.
That is why you won’t see one “style” associated with Harmony Gardens. Each design is a response to the
particular site and the client.
When we begin each design we consider the level of maintenance that will be provided so that we can offer
designs that take into account the future of the landscape .
Some designs require an eclectic style to respond to the client’s needs.
Here a combination of shade conditions and the request for a naturalistic style produced an elegant
landscape.
A strong architectural statement demands interesting combinations of plant responses.
Even where planting is limited, innovative landscape design can offer a strong stylish solution.
In situations where native or drought tolerant plants are used, the selections are chosen for their hardy
longevity.
Colorful plants are carefully selected with an eye to the balance between the WOW factor and their
maintenance needs.
The use of color is carefully selected in coordination with the client and their specific needs.
Textures are as important as colors in selection of plant materials.
At times, plants take a secondary position in the design.

Beside my portfolio work, I have experience in designing and working with homeowners associations: As the Landscape Architect Consultant for Doheny Sunset
Homeowners Association I review common areas and individual homes to assess fire hazard and viewshed violations. I also review plans to see if future landscape will violate CC&R’s.
As the Landscape Coordinator for Pardee Construction Company where I designed and coordinated installations for model homes, common tract areas and entries for homes built in Las Vegas, San Diego, Camarillo, Riverside and Santa Clarita
We would love to work with you to beautify your community
