• Not everyone can install the keyboards – Need Administrator privilege on computer – Need some tech ability (geek)

• Not everyone wants to bother

– Only need to type Behchoko

A Solution

• Keep a copy/paste document of common terms and place-names

• Use AutoCorrect – Here’s how

Better Solution

Select (highlight) a Target Word

Click File | Options

Click Proofing | AutoCorrect Options…

Selection Appears in “Replace: With:”

Type Regular Characters in “Replace:” Click “Add”

Entry is Added

Enter a Variant if Needed (more than one way to misspell a word)

Occasionally Wrong Side cause unknown – Don’t Panic

Right-Click Cut & Paste

Proceed

“OK” your way back to doc

Test: type normally, then space-bar

Undo auto correct

• Hover I-beam cursor near corrected word • Click on the tiny blue underline • Select “Change back to …”
