What is really the benefit to doing Video Interviews?                                                                                            

How to get the most out of your video interviews -­‐  Keep it simple (5-7 questions) -­‐  Treat it like a phone interview in your process -­‐  Don’t call it an interview - be creative -­‐  Give them a timeframe to create urgency and give them less

opportunity to forget -­‐  Give your landing page a personal touch/showcase your culture -­‐  Reminders that are fun but are not “pushy” -­‐  Do reviews of your questions to make sure the timing for each

answer is adequate for what you need.

So what were our results? -­‐  We began using video in July of 2014 -­‐  Reduced our time to hire by an average of 7 days -­‐  80% of interviews sent out were able to be

completed (everyone has a webcam these days) -­‐  Only 2% of those that didn’t complete them were

because they didn’t have a webcam
