THE SUPREME COURT CRITERIA

Physician assisted dying will be available to people who, at the time they seek assistance, are:

an adult,

who makes a free and informed choice (completely voluntarily),

must be competent to make the decision,

must have a grievous condition and experience irremediable suffering, intolerable to that individual

The above must be assessed by a physician.
