4 Types of AccommodationCompromise: Two

parties both give up something to come to an agreement

Mediation: A third party acts as a counselor in helping two parties reach an agreement

Truce: Brings a halt to conflict until a compromise is reached

Arbitration: A third party makes a decision that is binding on all parties
