Vitamin Pills- Boon or a Curse?

Popping a multivitamin pill does not make up a Balanced diet. A multi vitamin pill may have only few compounds. But a Balanced diet will have several important compounds essential for our body.

Eat a vitamin C rich foods instead of popping a vitamin C pill to prevent and cure cold.

It was believed that Vitamin C and Vitamin E pills will prevent heart disease by reducing artery clogging plaque.

On the contrary, they increased the risk of death.

Taking Vitamin pills does not provide extra energy. The energy producing component of our food comes from carbohydrates. Taking vitamin pills without balanced diet is like fuelling a car without gas.

Vitamins are safe when you eat them in food form but in pill form, they can act more like a drug with dangerous effects. Be aware of Vitamin Pills.

Vitamins B, and C are water soluble. Vitamins A, D, E are fat soluble. Water soluble vitamins are excreted. Fat soluble vitamins increases toxicity.

Eat fruits and vegetables as they are loaded with vitamins, antioxidants, phytochemicals in the natural form. Hence say “No” to Vitamin Pills
