Youth in Bangladesh…• Design press conferences• Plan and carry out colorful rallies

• Design and conduct research• Create stickers, posters, postcards, Flash presentations…

• Write radio scripts and speak on radio programs

• Write and act in TV dramas

Young People Have a Relaxed, Informal Style

Work is possible…• Without strict time schedules• Without bureaucracy• Without advanced degrees

…and sometimes work is easier…

If we break some rules!

Workshops are possible without chairs

Young people don’t understand the word “impossible”

Example: free newspaper ads

Two years in a row, a newspaper agreed to run full-color anti-tobacco ads daily for the month of May, at no cost.

Why? Because we asked!

Youth are Energetic

Youth are great at…• Working nights• Standing in the sun for hours• Doing far more work than seems humanly possible
