Chapter 1: Oldbie

“I want her out of this house Daniel!” “Where am I supposed to send her? There’s

nothing wrong with her!” “Nothing wrong with her? Daniel, either you get her out of this house or I’ll get social services

involved.”

I wonder if living with my grandparents will change things between me and Dirk? I hope

not. But surely living here can’t be worse than home.

A/N: Yeah surely not.

“Herb, I just can’t believe they put her out like that. How can you choose which of your children to love?”

“I just don’t know Coral. I really don’t. But at least she’s not in foster care.

So round 1 of me trying to make Pleasantview as prosperous as I can in 5 generations begins.

Yeah, should be fun right? Anyway Coral and Herb here are a sweet couple. Their constant pillow

fighting amuses me.

As for why Lilith is living with her grandparents instead of an asylum (group home)? I am benevolent.

Actually…..She got lucky that a dice roll wanted me to have a house with 2 elders and a teen, and I realized I didn’t feel like creating a bunch of new families for this so I just shifted some remade houses around so I could play prosperity style

the lazy way.

Lilith seems to like going down to the local pool. Just seemed like more her style. Gotta say

Pleasantview’s really lacking in fun community lots. I mean I’m not expecting a lot, but really we can do

better than this people.

I’ve always liked Lilith, but I’ve never had her bring this many people home from school.

Popularity sim seems to fit this incarnation of her just fine.

She and Coral get along swimmingly.

Very well actually. Makes me happy.

The family threw a New Year’s bash and invited Darren and Dirk. But honestly Lilith spent more time with Abhijeet

Turner.

And being cute banging the pot upstairs in the

tiny office.

Herb made a toast to his wife which I found

sweet.

Poor Herb, he tried so hard to spend time with his grand-daughter this round. He just always seemed to want to spend time with

her when Coral did.

At least Darren Dreamer and Herb became good friends this round. So good in fact, Darren apparently feels he can just waltz in and steal cookies and chips

from the fridge at all hours of the night. *snort*

I decided Saturdays should be date night for these two. Though I had them go in broad

daylight. Had them head down to the little cafe I plopped down in the hood for a couple of

drinks.

And slow dancing.

It even started to snow while they were out. The first snow of the

year just as they hit dream date. *sigh*

These two….just awww. How have I never played them

before?

They arrived home just as midnight and the end of the Oldbie rotation came around. Lilith

was up reading a romance novel. And her parents think she never opens a book.

Please….

Unfortunately, The Pleasant family is the next stop on my rounds. Oh boy!

See ya then..or ya know just skip it. Why should we all suffer?
