His Father, The Late Jagirdar, Was From The Khajuriya Village Near The Tonk District And Ran A Tyre Business.

He Was Studying For His M.A. Degree When He Snagged A Fellowship At (NSD) National School Of Drama In 1984.

When He Was A Final Year Student At NSD (1988), Mira Nair Chose Him For A Role In Salaam Bombay

But, sadly his role was edited out when the movie came.

After Graduating In 1987, Khan Moved To Mumbai, Where He Acted In Numerous Television Serials.

Television serials like 'Chanakya','Sara Jahan Hamara' 'Banegi Apni Baat' and 'Chandrakanta' (Doordarshan), 'Star Bestsellers' (Star Plus), Sparsh,

etc.

In The 1990’s He Appeared In The Critically Acclaimed Film Ek Doctor Ki Maut And Such A Long Journey (1998), But Various

After Many Unsuccessful Films, Things Changed When London-based Director Asif Kapadia Gave Him The Lead In

The Warrior, An Historical Film
