HOME MADE TITALIAN-

“ Bhakri pizza “

INTRODUCTION

This recipe is discovered by- MRS. Manali Godambe.

She is a Home- Maker. And a very good cook.The pizza is titled as- “ TITALIAN “ because, Manali is a resident of small village- TITWALA.And the pizza is named as- “ BHAKRI PIZZA “ Because it is made up of maharashtrian bhakri.

BASIC INGREDIANTS1. 2 ⅟2 Flour made of- jwari and bajari2. 2 tsp Baking powder3. 1 cup Luke-warm water4. 1 tsp Salt5. Pepper6. Desi ghee7. Cream

SAUCES• Green chutney• Dark soya sauce• Tomato sauce

VEGETABLES

• Green and yellow Capsicum cut in square

• Spring Onion • Beet root cut into thin slices• Cabbage or lettuce leaves chopped thin

PROCEDURE1. Mix flour, baking powder, water and salt in a

bowl.

2. Mix it properly and make a soft dough. The dough should not be sticky.

3. Pat that dough on a flat surface and make it like a bhakri which is nothing but your pizza base.

4. Put a pizza base (bhakri) on a non-stick tawa on a low rack. And bake it.

5. Remove pizza base from tawa and put it in a dish. Spread some cream on it.

6. Put tomato sauce on it.

7. Put green chutney on it.

8. Put soya sauce on it

9. Put vegetable toppings and cream on it, spread some pepper and salt.

10. Put bhakri pizza on tawa and cover it. Keep it on high rack and heat it.

And serve it with kolhapuri thecha.
