The Bottom Blues

• The bottom fields of the homepage get little use; • Only a few topics get any hits at all (most popular topic in “About the library” received only 14 clicks in 2011, less than .5 %)

• Average page time is very low• Need to keep attention; keep all

information on home page relevant so it does not crowd out the others

• Reduce/filter relevant information

• Minified About Page– The most FAQ topics will continue to

have links• MLA Guide• APA Guide• Schedule Library Instruction

–Will also include a basic ‘about the library’ navigation bar.

• Everything else can be accessed through LibAnswers box
