When you enter Scratch, press “Try” and this is the first screen you see.

First, choose the main sprite (sprite=character) using one of the tabs on

:library, painting, upload from the file or camera,…

…then build the script. First, choose a Motion (moving block),…

…then add a sound using one of the tabs on:library, record or upload from the file,…

…and start a dance (by adjoining Motions and Sounds).

Next, choose a Control (time and repeat block)...

…and make the sprite speak (by using a Look).

Now add an Event (when you press the selected button, the script becomes active),...

...and change the colour of the sprite (by using a Look),...

...then add a Background (by using one of the tabs on :library, painting, upload from the file or

camera) and a new sprite.

Finally, explore new sounds and dances (by adjoining Costumes and Controls) and share your

project!
