TeacherThe roles of teachers have changed and continue to change from that of instructors to that of constructors, facilitators, coaches, and creators of learning environments.

Reasons why the teacher’s role must change:• ICT will cause certain existing resources to become

obsolete. • ICT may make some assessment methods redundant.

“To promote significant learning, teacher should use a lot of examples and require active participation of the learner”

How can ICT help teachers in this task?

They allow to make more colorful, interactive and interesting classes for the students.

ConstructivismConstructivism is a pedagogical theory about how people learn. It say that people construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world.

Linkage of ICT to constructivism- Generates new ways of teaching and

learning though computers.- It decreases memorization and rote

learning.- It increases critical thinking for

learners.- ICT take place to the interaction and

cooperation among students, teachers and own experiences of where they are.

- ICT enhaces integrative learning, that’s transforming theories to practice.

ConcludingEducational technology trend can change the way of thinking in the future of education. ICT is necessary because of the modernization of students according to the current conditions of the time in which we live.

The teachers are called for a redefinition of their profession.

Where students construct their own understanding and knowledge they learn in a colaborate way, thechnology will help us.
