PROBLEM

What does the environmental crisis mean?

The biosphere is the global sum of all ecosystems:

• the earth’s thin skin of air, water and soil

• global network of various habitats

Nothing is created, nothing is lost.

• Constant balanced interaction

• No waste• Everything is recycled

endlessly

But • Balance has begun to

collapse

The environmental degradation.• Ozone layer is thinning

•Pollution

We pollute our rivers, lakes and oceans, and the sky, forgetting that we need water and air to live and breathe.

• Acid rain is destroying forests and lakes

• We destroy landscapes and rainforests

• We slaughter the world’s beautiful animals

The Environmentalists call for changes NOW!

• As a result of new technologies of land we lose the soil

• The earth is steadily warming with potentially dangerous effects

Thanks for your attention.
