Most countries and employers will require that you have a Bachelor’s degree and a
TEFL/TESOL qualification.
These academic qualifications are in the most part a requirement in order to be issued with
a work visa/permit.
If you don’t have a degree, there is however still the possibility of finding a TEFL job
abroad. These jobs tend to be in less prestigious areas and often in outlying areas.
It is always recommend that you scour the online TEFL job boards for TEFL Jobs or
positions where a degree is not a requirement.
