Teachers must have an account with the site.
Three types of licenses that can be purchased:
large school
small school
individual accounts
Individual Teacher Accounts$30 a year
Users are given a link for a student homepage.
A signup code is assigned, which allows students access to TIGed under the teacher’s classroom account.
Teachers can make classrooms public or private and limit public access to classroom profiles.
In Closing
TakingITGlobal helps students gain an understanding
of the world in which they will work and live. By
incorporating this global network in the classroom,
educators can encourage their students to get involved
not only in their local communities, but the global
community as well.
