Symbiosis

By Daniel Russell

Why I chose

I chose this font because it was the font I always use.

I chose the back ground because I think it is relevant

To the topic and because its green (my favorite color).

I chose the Sea Anemone because I am interested in

the life in the sea.

What is a symbiosis ?

A symbiosis is when two or more different plants, animals or bacteria depend on each other to stay alive. There are VERY many symbiosis on earth, I’ll tell you about one of them: the Clown Fish and the Sea Anemone.

How do they rely on each other?

The Clown Fish swims around

collecting different micro organisms

which the Sea Anemone likes.

When the Clown Fish comes in

contact with the Sea Anemone, the

micro organisms get sucked into

the Sea Anemone, feeding it.

How do they rely on each other? (slide 2)

At the same time the Sea Anemone gives the Clown Fish protection against all of its predators.

Facts

The Sea Anemone can sting humans.

The Clown Fish skin is infused with an oil that stops the Sea Anemone from stinging it.

Conclusion

The Sea Anemone is an interesting sea plant, it comes in all shapes and sizes. It is poisonous (which I think is interesting). The Clown Fish is special because it is one of the only fish that does not get stung by the Sea Anemone.
