• Stop driving on flooded roads.

• In case the water is sucked into the exhaust or washes into the air intake, the car could be stalled.

• Never start the car by any means (kick or push starter). This can cause severe damage to the engine.

• If the vehicle is submerged in water, an expert technician needs to inspect damages, transmission electrical and electronic components.

Situation 1: The Water Level is Above the Tyre Level

• Shift to first gear.

• To avoid blockage of silencer by water, press the accelerator to increase engine RPM.

• In case you need to reduce the speed, instead of reducing the engine speed, use the clutch.

• After crossing a flooded area, continue to accelerate the engine to clean the silencer.

Situation 3: The Windshield is Covered with Water

• If you are unable to see ahead, turn on the headlights in overcast conditions. Not only will it help you see the road ahead, but also help other drivers spot you.

• Replace old wiper blades that don’t clear the water and distort your view.

• Turn on the defroster when the windshield begins to fog due to high humidity and rain.

• Use rain-repellant products on side windows and mirrors to prevent standing raindrops.

Situation 4: The Vehicle is Submerged in Water for a Long Time

Replace all the lubricants and fluids, and check for proper operations of systems and mechanisms.

Apply anti rust and anti fungal spray for its restoration.
