-Storms with :-lightning, strong winds and heavy rain.

Thunderstorms

- Some times tornadoes (speed of 400 km/hr. or more) form during thunderstorms.

- Tornadoes (Fast spinning spirals of wind that reaches from the thunderstorm clouds to the ground.

2) Hurricane- Large storms.- Wind speed of 119 km.- Forms over warm areas of oceans. (Lasts for weeks at sea)- When they move over land they become weaker.(gets energy from warm water)

- Rain, waves and storm surge (Huge bulge of water) cause flooding.
