ScienceWe may study many ideas under my class theme of sea life, such as;-Sea animal interactions-How sea animals survive-Food chains and food webs of sea animals-Difference between sea animals and sea plants

EnglishThe class will able to read many books about sea life. Some of these books include…- “Island of the Blue Dolphin”- “Discover the Deep Ocean Life”- “Commotion in the Ocean”

HistoryThe class will be able to study the history of the oceans and history about all the animals in the ocean.

Additionally, the students may learn about the migration of animals and why they may be migrating more now than in the past.

GeographySea Life can also transfer over into geography.-Students may learn the difference of latitude and longitude-They may learn about where the oceans and major seas are- They may learn the specific characteristics of certain oceans (i.e. ocean temperature or salinity)

Math• Students can learn Math topics using sea animal word problems.

Andrew has five fish, he gives two away to his friend Amber. How many fish does Andrew has left?

Carly has 27 sea shells. She has 3 baskets she must spread them evenly in. How many shells must be in each basket?

x+y= Math

ArtThe class can use creativity to make their own sea life creatures.-The class could use fake shells and a paper plate to make their own interpretation of the ocean.

-Students may make their own jellyfish with yarn and construction paper.
