Turning Waste things -

“it needn’t cost the Earth to Play”

into Play things

WHO ARE WE?

The Re/Play scrapstore is a project of Leeds Play Network

We are a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity

The project was created in 1992 from the energy and

determination of a small group of people with a vision of

what could be.

Re/Play is one of about 30 scrapstores throughout the UK

To encourage creative and playful reuse of commercial surplus waste materials, thus reducing environmental damage.

.

To assist members and users to develop their ability to use play materials creatively, and to supply them with a wide range of new and scrap materials and equipment.

To promote the increased involvement of parents, guardians and local communities in the provision for children’s play.
