• Switch off your mobile phone• Recheck the audio level• Check for popping and breathing

During recording

• Check: Are you really recording?• Don’t start with an empty screen• Don’t record menus etc.

Use keyboard shortcuts, not menus

Making editing easier

• Synchronizing audio and video: clapper• Recording with editing in mind:

– Pauses are ok– Repeat from previous pause– Acoustic markers– Wait at start, end

Presenting lively

• Sounding and looking motivating– Smiley or photo next to camera– Live audience

• Speaking expressively– Comma, period: pause– Question mark: speech melody– Emphasis
