Our schoolPoland/ Męcinka

The name of our School in Polish is Zespół Szkół im. Mikołaja Kopernika w Męcince.Our school patron is Nicolaus Copernicus- a famous Polish astronomer and scientist

Our school is located in the mountains ( Kaczawskie Mountains) near the National Landscape Park (Chełmiński Park Krajobrazowy)

There are 330 students aged from 6 to 14. There are 25 teachers here. Our school is quite young- it`s only ten years old.

Children from the villages around, come here by bus every day from Monday to Friday. We start school at 8.00 and finish at 2.35p.m. Younger kids (6-8) finish school earlier.

We have nice

computer labs

language lab, a school

canteen and a school

radio, a football

pitch , a tennis court

and basketball court!

There are many additional workshops and classes for those who want to for example learn to play the drums, or learn how to make sculptures. Our school is really interesting!
