colourful/emotive response:• What’s your favourite joke?• What was the last dream you had?• Your earliest childhood memory?• Your first love?• Your saddest moment?• Your happiest moment?• Tell me the story of your life

• Pick a topical issue or a few stories for a podcast• Organise 3 people to take part – give them

notice so they can swot up• Test your room for sound – make sure it’s not

too echoey or dull• As host, make sure you know how to introduce

the issue, your guests – and how to end.• Have some ideas to prod the discussion forward

if it needs it.• Use body language to manage the discussion
