In this introductory workshop, you will learn about the new EEC Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQIP).

Planning for quality improvement is the heart of MA QRIS! The CQIP helps you identify areas of strength and areas of potential growth in your program. You will walk away from the workshop with ideas about how to implement quality action steps in your program.

What is Continuous Quality Improvement?

A thoughtful and intentional process of improving the quality of services and practices in programs, to achieve better outcomes for children and families.

What is a CQI Process?

Currently, where is your program in the development of your Program Improvement Plan?

CQIP in Massachusetts

• This is the Program Improvement Plan (PIP) referenced in the QRIS Standards

• Programs use data collected from the required QRIS Measurement Tools

• EEC piloted the CQIP as part of the 2014 QRIS Program Quality Improvement Grants

• Almost 300 programs and providers created plans in Phase One of the 2014 QRIS Grant

• CQIP is now a required QRIS document
