Learning versus Education

And not for learning

Let me give you 2 examples of learning and education

Story 1 : My College

Where I did my engineering in Electronics and Communications course

Busted, right ?

But I memorized everything for the exam

Focusing for the exams, barely I learned anything

I didn’t understand Electronics nor Communications

Did final year project on ‘Hacking EM Waves and reproducing the same’

Project was a huge success resulted in Front page of National Dailynewspaper….

I learned Fourier transform, electronic circuit and more from this 3 month project !

I learned it from Internet!

Story 2 : Where I started my first job

DUBAI CITY

I started my work in Industrial Automation

3 months of intensive training

I learned more than what was taught during my 4 years of engineering career

In terms of technical as well as in decision making!

i.e, I learned Engineering as well as MBA

I was executing one of the largest BMS project in the Middle East with the things I learned during my first 3 months !

Working for an 1 year and more…

Built my confidence so high that…

I wanted to start a company!

Started company in Software Industry!

had 3 viral products…

Tintumon – more than 15,000 registered users and sprang up a tintumon fever for some months!

Indian Rupee Font – More than 20 million downloads

Fedena – Powering 40,000 Schoolsand 20 million users!
