When will this strategy be delivered?

• 10 weeks (Term 3 - 2012)

• 300 hours combined time

• Employer - 1 day per week

• School - 3 days per week

• (Situational flexibility negotiable between stakeholders)

• Victoria University

• 1 day per week (6 hours)

• Employer

• 1 day per week (6 hours)

• 3 days per week (18 hours)

How will this be assessed?

• Online (e learning)

• Relative to workplace/industry learning outcomes, LL&N and VETiS requirements

• Workplace outcomes

• Pre planned education and behaviour objectives (negotiated with employer and educators)

• Interviews with students, employers and peer’s.

• Observation

• Rubrics

• Self, workplace and class assessment

How will this be evaluated?

• Consultation between all stakeholders

• Collaborative strategies

• Student centric relevance 

• Communicate with parents or guardians

• Promoting involvement and engagement

• Developing and supporting mentoring and coaching skills that support long term results.

• Engagement through feedback from all stakeholders throughout the delivery and after completion.

Overall strategy

• Create achievable outcomes for students at risk

• Empower students and their support network through developing there ongoing skills
