A is for Amnesty International

• This organisation defends Human Rights all over the world.

B is for Bullying

• Let’s keep this out of the schools forever

C is for Consciencious Objection

• Everybody has the right to oppose war because of personal moral convictions.

D is for Democracy

• We all have the right to participate in the government of our country

E is for Execution

• It’s what happens when someone is condemned to death. Death penalty should be abolished all over the world

F is for Freedom

• We are all born free and should remain like that for life.

G is for Genocide

• This is the policy of destroying a nationality or ethnic group

H is for Human Rights

• We must defend them wherever we are.

I is for Innocent

• This is how you should be considered until it can be proved that you are guilty.

J is for Justice

• It’s a moral principle that determines the fairness of actions.

K is for Kill

• One of the most horrible verbs in the dictionary

L is for law

• It should be the same for everyone and not treat people differently because of their race, colour or way of life

M is for Mandela

• After more than 25 years in prison, he became the first black president of South Africa

N is for Nationality

• Article fifteen of the declaration says that everyone has the right to belong to a country and have one of these

O is for Opinion

• People have the right to have their own opinions and express them freely

P is for Peace

• Let’s give it a chance!

Q is for Question

• This is what you should do rather than accept everything that anyone tells you

R is for Racism

• There is only one race: The Human.

S is for Solutions

• We must fight to find solutions to all present and future conflicts.

T is for Torture

• Article 5 says that no-one shall be subject to this

U is for United Nations

• It was from this organisation that Human Rights Declaration was born

V is for violence

• Let’s keep this away from the school and from our lives

W is for Work

• Article 23 says that everyone has the right to this and to protection against unemployment

X is for Xenophobia

• This is hate or fear of strangers.

Y is for YOU

• What can YOU do to make the world a better place to live in??

Z is for Zero

• This is the number of human rights violations that should exist in a perfect world.
