Here is a step by step slide on how I made my Pop Music Magaizne Front Cover. I later on made osme changes as you will see on my blog.

How I made my Front Cover
Insert the image onto photo shop.
Lighten the image so that text will be easier to read when placed on top of
picture.
I insert text onto the image.
I add a pink square into the image.
I then and White letters on top.
I continued to do this process until I had finished my Mast Head.
Now that the mast head was finished. I decided to add a plug.
Here I added text on top of the plug.
I added a lower mast and then lightened it.
Next I added an image to place on top of the Bar.
Then I added text to place on top of the purple bar.
