Horses are mammals and they are four-legged.Today the horse is domesticated,but long ago they were wild.

Horses’ feet have got a single hardy hoof at the end.They’ve got powerful legs,and they are very fast.

There lots of diferent especies in the horse

family.For example the common are zebra.

Zebra has black and white stripes and lives wild in Africa.

The ass is smaller than the horse,but it has long ears and It’s grey.

This is a pony and they are hardy breed.This horse has got long mane.

This horse lived in Mongolia in 1870.It is the only truly wild horse left.The other horses were wild before but since 1,800 the only wild horse left is the Przewalskis.

Horses are sociable animals.They live in group of 10 to 20.Mares usually breed at the age two or three years and they normally have one foal a year.Wolves and other predators hunt the horse.

The horse are used in the farm for their pulling power.Today there are 200 different breeds of horses.They can measure as much as 2m high.Shetland ponies live in Argentina,which is smaller than many dogs.

Today the horses they used in every continent except Antartica.In North America,they have participated in the cattle herding since the mid-1800s.Today the horses are usad for policing,ceremonial and sport events,hunting and riding for fun.But one of the must popular event is the horse-racing
