CareerTech: Getting Kids on Track for College through the Cooperative Alliance Program• This presentation will cover the Cooperative Alliance Program, a partnership between CareerTech and

OSRHE. – CareerTech is located in Stillwater

– OSRHE is located in Oklahoma City• www.okhighered.org

• Through this partnership students can earn transcripted college credit.– Credit is applied toward Associates of Applied Science Degree– Workforce Degree

• Not a terminal degree

• Raise your hand when you read this line. People will look, but don’t be afraid! • The Cooperative Alliances is a true statewide effort.

– All 29 technology centers participate.– There are 15 college partners.

• You pay no tuition.– You are now more than halfway through the bullet points. – It is an Academic Service Fee– It only cost $8 per hour.

• You have to have a 19 ACT, 15 PLANACT or 2.5 GPA to be eligible. • Students really benefit.• This is a great program.• Now put your hand down, you are a fast reader!
