Activity 2: One thing I can do for genderequity in research – 20 minutes
Resources:You’ve been given two “what can I do” discussion triggers written by Professor Jenny Martin, NHMRC Fellow and ARC Australian Laureate Fellow 2010-2014• Ten Simple Rules to Achieve Conference Speaker Gender Balance• But what can I do for gender equality? Easy, start here.
Activity:Peer to peer1. Skim and scan the triggers2. Arrive at peer consensus about which is most relevant to your situation3. Discuss at least 2 of the ideas for what you can do4. There will not be a report back to the whole group
