Step 1: Go to Formatically’s home page to access the MLA Format

Template

Step 2: Click the “1.COVER” tab to edit that

page.

Step 3a: If you decide to complete the essay page, then simply Click

the “Same as Essay” box.

Step 3b: If you do not have an essay page you can start typing the title.

TIP: Capitalize all letters except prepositions and articles (on, from, and).

Step 4: Fill in your first and last name. (!) The tool will not capitalize for

you.

Step 5: Type the full name of your class. (i.e. AP English

Composition)

Step 6: Type your Instructor’s name with their

proper title.

Step 7: Type the Date in this format: 8 July

2014

Step 8: Lastly, if you don’t need any other pages then you are ready

to email or download your paper. Once you press Create, the

tool will do the rest.
