Career Summary

Career Choice: Financial Advisor

Description: A Financial Advisor works with customers helping them with financial help. They work with businesses, individuals, and governments. This can involve investment advice, pension planning, and help with many different types of insurance. This entry level job requires a strong core knowledge in the stock market and good ability to interact and communicate with clients on a daily basis.

Specialty Areas: Stock Broker, Insurance Producer, Investment Advisor Representative, Stock Market, Mutual Bonds, Insurance, etc.

Financial Advisor I have thoroughly

researched the field of financial advising; therefore, will strive to provide credible recommendations in the field of finance.

Getting Qualified There are no official requirements for financial advisors although,

most employers prefer those who have a college education. Degrees in business, accounting or finance are also recommended. Certificate programs in financial advising are available for those who already hold a degree.

It’s recommended to have a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), and be a Certified Financial Advisor by having at least three years of experience and passing a designated test.
