The Barbary Pirates then attacked American ships, and took their captain and the crews as hostages for

ransom. Thus, making their Lords very rich and the Americans very bitter!

At the loss of USS Philadelphia and her crew , America fights

back against the Barbary Pirates and after numerous

naval battles, victory is theirs!
