The natural environment includes all living and non-living things that occur naturally on Earth along with its systems, landscapes and resources

The built environment includes the settings for human activity, ranging from the large-scale civic surroundings to personal places, such as homes

The virtual environment includes electronic environments, internet environments and the concept of personal space

MYP Environments

Organised SLEs based on three principles:

horizontal movement from guided to independent learning

lower to higher order skills using Revised Blooms (as per proforma) and Habits of the Mind

three sections of MYP inquiry cycle: awareness & understanding; reflection; and action

Eg.Awareness and understanding of:

Bloom’s remembering and understanding

With teacher support

With some guidance Independently
