• Period: October-February• Floods receded• Rich soil left behined– Plowed and seeded

• Watered with sadufs• Busiest season

Shemu

Shemu Season(Harvest)• Period: March – May• Reapers cut and gatheredcrops• Scribes take inventory• Repair canals for next Akhet
