KS 1 & KS 2 The students work in pairs. One student blindfold the other student or close the eyes. The blindfolded student completes the maze by following the verbal instructions given by his/her partner. They switch roles. You could even create a giant maze in the classroom using paper for children to walk around.

KS 2 Flow charts

•  Flow charts show sequences of events •  They are made of shapes such as rectangles and diamonds. •  All the flow charts begin with a START symbol and finish with the END

symbol

•  Actions/process/instructions represented using rectangles and

decisions represented through diamonds. Diamonds are used for asking questions.
