• It has a varied geography: dunes, lagoons, marshes (marismas)

• Fauna: Many aquatic birds and the Iberic Lynx (el lince ibérico), which is currently in danger of extinction.

• Location: Granada, Almería; Andalucía

• Has the highest peaks in the entire Iberian Peninsula

• Also has a large variety of flora and fauna.

The whole archipelago is a Spanish national park. Cabrera is a cruising destination, and boats may

Many species survive on Cabrera that are rare around the Balearics, such as dolphins and sea snails.

between 1730 and 1736. The volcanic activity continues.

There are geysers of steam, which are an attraction for tourists.

There is only one active volcano, Timanfaya, after which the park is named.
