Description of the Activity Background:

To commemorate World No Tobacco Day on May 31th, and as one member of

the IPSF Asia Pacific regional, BEM KEMAFAR UNPAD is required to

implement this annual work program of IPSF. This program is to inform

people about WNTD and invited peoples for stopped smoked. This program

can also be a training tool for the students as future pharmacists, to be able

to deliver health information to the people around them.

Aims:

To commemorate World No Tobacco Day

To inform and raise awareness of peoples, especially common peoples at

CFD Bandung about consequences of tobacco consumption (symptoms

and prevention)

To invite common peoples for stop smoking

Methods and Used Tools / Materials:

Mini campaign (via flyers and direct meetings)

Long March

Barter our orange with their cigarette

Results:

The campaign went well. We as a participants were interested. We did our

long march with sang 4 songs, gave flyers to peoples around and when met

people smoked, we were came for asked the smokers to barter his cigarettes

with our orange. In the middle of long march we have universitas competition

and Pharmacy Universitas Padjadjaran got the first winner for best

performance. Overall the activity was quite success.

Comments and/or Ideas Arising From the Activity Even though the preperation for WNTD was quite short, the result of the

activity was well. We hope that this campaign will increase peoples

awareness for tobacco and stop smoking forever.
