First Prize Solo Recital Competition Winner Joelle Jeon CA, piano
Student of Irina Bendetsky
Joelle Jeon, 14, has been studying piano with Irina Bendetsky for 10 years. Her first award was 3rd place from American Protege international competition in 2013 which led to perform at Carnegie Hall. In 2015 she received Silver Medal as a Winner at AADGT International Young Gifted Musicians Festival. In 2016 Joelle was also awarded 1st Place Winner at American Fine Arts Festival - Golden Era of Romantic Music International Competition and 2nd Place Winner for US New Star Piano Competition. She also got an award from Lansum International Music Festival in 2016. She received 2nd place at the Rome Grand Prize Virtuoso International
Music Competition in 2017. Recently she was awarded 1st Place at the Elite International Music Competition in 2018. She performed at the SDNC CAPMT Festival in 2017 and has given recitals to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) every year since 2010. Joelle is 9th grade at Bishop's School in San Diego CA. She also has talent in singing and joins the choir at school.

First Prize Solo Recital Competition Winner Elena Gribelyuk CT, piano Student of Svitlana Fiorito
Elena Gribelyuk has been studying piano with Svitlana Fiorito for the past nine years. For the past eight years, Elena has performed at numerous decorated halls throughout the US and Europe, winning top prizes and local, state, national, and international competitions. As a result, she was honored to perform at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Engelman Hall, and the Russian Center of Music in Paris, France, among others. In addition, Elena was given the opportunity to perform with the North Shore Symphony Orchestra in 2010 and 2017, playing Mozart Concerto No. 17 and Rachmaninoff Rhapsody On a Theme of Paganini. Elena hopes to continue her study of music in college, where she will likely double-major in mathematics and computer science.
