The PL-81270 is 1U rackmounted high-performance networking system based on the Intel ® Atom™ C3000 processor. This new generation platform provides high CPU computing power utilizing up to 16 processing cores and supporting up to 20 PCIe lanes with flexible network interface module expansion.
The PL-81270 is an enhancement in computing performance and system responsiveness with the Intel ® Atom™ C3000 Processor. The system supports four DDR4 ECC RDIMM/LRDIMM (up to 2400 MHz) and maximum memory capacity of up to 128 GB. With 20 PCIe lanes the PL-81270 is able to support up to 1 NIC modules with multiple Ethernet module bays for flexible port configuration; such as 25G ZSFP+, 10G SFP+, GbE SFP and GbE Gne. In addition, 4 BYPASS functions are supported.
The strong IO elements of PL-81270 include a console port, two USB ports, a LCD module, a 5-button keypad, LEDs for power/HDD/2x GPO. The PL-81270 supports one SATA 3.5” or 2.5” HDDs/SSDs and onboard CompactFlashTM slot for basic network storage applications.Applications for the platform include: vCPE, uCPE, SD-WAN, SD-Security, Firewall/UTM, Gateway, Router, Edge Network Server, and more.
