·Trenton head coach Bob Tur-cotte for his thoughts on theTigers' and their back-to-backstate tournament bids. Hereis what the coach had to sayvia email. What was it like to win

the regional tournamentfor the second straightyear? .Turcotte: Winning back to

back Region 8 championshipshas only been done one othertime in our school's history(1999,2000).Rarified air to win two in

a row for a school our size. A

girls are extremely proud ofthis accomplishment. What was the most im-

pressive thing you sawfrom the club during thetournament?Turcotte: This team plays

with character, grit, and de-termination. Those threethings were on displaythroughout the tournament. The girls played hard defen-sively and made key halftimeadjustments. Our work ethicfor 32minutes is really what Iliked the most. What does it mean for

your program to have com-pleted back-to-back unde-feated seasons heading intostate?Turcotte: We know when

we play defense with inten-sity, hit the boards and playaggressively, we are a hardteam to defeat. We truly donot talk about being undefeat-ed. Our goal for the regularseason was to give our besteffort daily in practice, thenin games.
