Canada
Blue Mountains
The Blue Mountains is a ski resort in Ontario , in north Canada.
It took eight hours on the airplane from London to Toronto.
Race Day
Today we watched our Mum race 10 miles and do lots of
obstacles in the Obstacle Course Racing World
Championship Race.
It was fun to watch people from around the world all race together.
Obstacle Course Racing Champion
We met Jon Albon who was the winner.
He has won the race for three years running .
He is the World Champion. (and gave my sister his
finishers medal‐
he got a Gold one later that day)
He is British.
Niagara Falls
We drove to Niagara Falls.
Every Sunday and Wednesday evenings in Niagara they set off fireworks. I watched them and they were very impressive.
NiagaraCanada is 5 hours behind GMT,
so our body clocks were mixed up, meaning we woke early
enough to watch the sunrise.

Fort George
Fort George was built by the
British Army in 1796.It was also used by the
Canadian Army for training
during WW1.We got to watch a Musket
Display, and see how the
soldiers, Officers and their
families would have lived.
Toronto
We went to Ripley’s Aquarium it was right next to the
CN tower !Here is a few pictures of my trip to the aquarium.
Science is fun!
The next day we went to the Ontario Science Museum
it was really cool. There was lots of things to do.
Huge Heights but no frights!
At night we visited Canada’s National Tower(a.k.a the CN tower)
it is 1814 feet tall
It was built by the railway company Canadian National in 1976
It took 40 months to build (3 years and 4 months)
2 million people visit it every year.
6 glass elevators take visitors to the observation deck, it takes 58
seconds to reach the top.
On a clear day you can see approximately 100 miles from the
observation deck.
The glass floor can hold the weight of 5 Hippos!
Back through time We spent our last day at the Royal Ontario Museum
(ROM)it was fascinating.
There was so much to see at the Royal Ontario Museum
We spent 10 days in Canada, there is so much to see, do and learn about. It was fun and a great experience.
What a wonderful world we inhabit !
