Welcome to Audit e-File Guide Line

Click on“Form 217 - Audit”

Select File

Read Information carefully you can take its Print also

Click Print All Button for

Complete the Data Entry Part

It is Compulsory to Enter Date, Place, Designation to be

printed in certificate

Select E-File option and Click on

Generate button

After Converting File Click on View Button

Read Important Note carefully then click on Continue

After Clicking Continue If Macro is enabled in excel

This message box appears. Click on cross to close.

If This message box does not appear , Then Enable macro in Excel and then proceed

1. Select “Form 217 worksheet”

2. Click On “Validate”

If there is error in sheet then this msg. will come click “OK” and go to

Read Error Description and

Click to reach the actual Column

After solving all errors click on validate. If there is no error then this message will show click on yes to generate upload file

After solving all errors , Upload File will be generated , And a window to Save file will appear

New File will be generated with name followed by _UPLOAD word

Your Validated without error file, Ready for Uploading will look like This

After Login Select Audit Report

Select Form 217 , Year and Press Confirm Button , You can see List of Files to be upload

2. Select File having name Upload behind.xls

1. Press Browse Button

3. Press Upload

Note : Here the Upload file having name like _upload.xls is hidden data file , you can see only TIN No, Year, From date and To date in this file

Once Form 217 Xls file is uploaded successfully , Then you can see another List Active to be attached as Scanned Documents in PDF files for Upload

2. Scanned copy of Audit Report Certificate : Here Attached a PDF file of Certificate ((Scanned) )

duly signed on last Page of Certificate and press Upload

3. Scanned copy of Statement of Particular : Here Attached a PDF file of Statement of Particular

duly signed on last page along with attachments like Payment details, Commodity Details of sales and Purchases, observation and notes etc.. And press Upload

4&5. Soft Copy and Scanned copy of Statutory Forms Here Attached a xls file as soft copy and PDF file as

Scanned copy if it is available and press upload one by one

6. Scanned copy Undertaking Here Attached a PDF file (Scanned) duly signed by

Dealer or authorized signatory given in main Audit Option and press Upload

7. Scanned copy of Statutory Audit Report and its notes After uploading both Form 217 in xls format and other

documents , select Scanned copy of statutory audit report and its notes in ZIP format of PDF file , Enter 01 in Total file parts and press upload button

7. Scanned copy of Statutory Audit Report and its notes If single Zip file format is more than 5 MB then split it into 2

or more zip file parts below 5 MB size (Each file part should not exceed 5 MB size) and give that Total file no here e.g. if total zip file is 3 then write 03 here and upload it turn by turn

7. Scanned copy of Statutory Audit Report and its notes After uploading one or more zip files as required press

Generate PDF button

If Any of the Scanned documents uploaded is wrong If you feel any of the scanned documents uploaded in PDF Format is wrong you can press this button, This will delete all ,

Then upload all scanned documents again in due mannerNote : Form 217 in xls can’t be deleted in this option

Delete Uploaded PDF files

Generate Acknowledgement

Audit Report Uploading Process CompletedAfter uploading all these documents in due manner as mentioned

earlier successfully you can generate Acknowledgement here

To upload Audit report various combination of PDF files are required which can be generated through SaTVAT Report generator in File option of Print All Button

You can generate Only Certificate, Only Statement of Particular, Only signature page of certificate, Only signature page of Statement of particular and whole report to gather

Separately generated PDF files can be merged in single PDF by using Merge PDF option available in Audit Menu (Explained in next screen)

Same above facility is available in Print option also

How To make Different PDF Files

PDF Merge : In Audit Upload procedure files to be uploaded should be in PDF format, SaTVAT also gives output in PDF files as well as scanned documents are also generated in PDF files.

In many cases it is required to merge two or more PDF files to make one file. Here In Audit Menu we have provided PDF merge facility in which you can merge PDF files to make one file

The new single merged PDF file will be stored in the drive of SaTVAT software, with folder name \form217pdf

(Please take care for Backup of \form217pdf folder, we have not provided Backup facility of this folder yet)

How To merge one or more PDF Files

AUDIT Undertaking : This facility is given in Audit Menu -> Audit Undertaking option, You can take Print out, Sign it by dealer or authorized person and Scan it to upload

Dealer or authorized signatory given in main Audit Option

Create ZIP : For Statutory Audit report and its notes you need to upload file into ZIP Format of PDF files

For one or more PDF files to make ZIP file. Here In Audit Menu --> Create ZIP file of PDF option we have provided facility to make ZIP file showing Total No of file parts of each 5MB or Less

This ZIP will automatically split into one or more ZIP file parts each equal or less than 5 MB ,It will be stored in the drive of SaTVAT software, with folder name \form217pdf \2013-14\034

How To create ZIP File of Different PDF Files

ZIP File : This ZIP will automatically split into one or more ZIP file parts with Filanem.zip.001 , Filename.zip.002 etc.. each file generated will be equal or less than 5 MB ,

Screen will show Where the file is stored and How many file parts are generated..
