Check the box beside one or more WebLesson topics you want to assign

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click STEP 2

Assign Lessons - 3

Check the box beside every class to which you want to assign this lesson, and then click STEP 3

You don’t have to assign lessons to an entire class; you can assign it to individual students. At this point, just check the class that the students are in.

Assign Lessons - 4

Choose a Due Date for the lesson by clicking the calendar icon

You must choose a date for each class, even if they are all the same

Assign Lessons - 5

Check the box beside each student you want included in this lesson assignment

To select the entire class, click Check All

Lesson assignments can be required or optional. Click the radio buttons to change the assignment type.

Click DONE at the bottom of the page to submit the new lesson assignment

The Quiz is graded automatically by the system (10 points possible)

Study Questions and Project both have scores of 0 (they have not yet been graded)

Click the “Questions” score to grade the student’s answers

Grade Lessons - 4

Study questions appear in gray shading, with the student’s answer directly below

Select a score for each answer from the drop-down list to the right of each question

Grade Lessons - 5

If you would like to comment on an answer, click Comment and enter your remarks in the box below the student’s answer

Grade Lessons - 6

WebLessons totals the individual scores and displays them here in the Student Progress page

You can go back in and modify the scores anytime

Choose Points or Percent from the drop-down box according to your grading preference

Grade Lessons - 7

If you don’t think a student has done his or her best work (and according to your own grading policies), you have the option of reassigning a lesson to a student

It’s a good practice to leave comments or suggestions for improvement when you reassign lessons

WebLessons will notify the student that the lesson has been reassigned for additional work

Grade Lessons - 8

Reassigned lessons are marked as such in the Student Progress page
